To add AWS NameServers to a domain registered to Cloudflare, you need to follow these steps:
- Log in to your Cloudflare account.
- Go to the DNS settings for your domain.
- In the DNS settings, locate the NS (NameServer) records for your domain.
- Edit the NS records and replace them with the AWS NameServers provided by AWS for your Route 53 hosted zone.
- Save your changes.
- Go to your AWS Route 53 console.
- Create a new hosted zone and enter your domain name.
- Copy the NS records from your newly created Route 53 hosted zone.
- Go back to your Cloudflare DNS settings and add the NS records that you copied from your Route 53 hosted zone.
- Save your changes.
It may take some time for the changes to propagate across the internet and for your AWS NameServers to become the authoritative NameServers for your domain. Once the changes have propagated, you can manage your domain’s DNS settings using AWS Route 53.
